*Black River Logistics Ltd.* is looking for a motivated and organized *Human Resources Assistant* to join our team. This is a junior-level opportunity for someone who has experience in administration, customer service, or office support and wants to build a long-term career in Human Resources.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, comfortable working with people, and willing to learn and grow within the department.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Assist with day-to-day Human Resources administrative duties. * Maintain employee files, records, and HR documentation. * Assist with employee onboarding and orientation. * Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, forms, and other documents. * Support recruitment activities, including posting jobs and reviewing applications. * Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates. * Assist with collecting employee documents and maintaining accurate records. * Track employee training, certifications, licences, and document expiry dates. * Assist with attendance, vacation, leave, and employee record updates. * Respond to basic employee questions and direct concerns to the appropriate manager. * Assist management with HR reports and documentation. * Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information. * Help organize training sessions, meetings, and employee communications. * Follow company policies and HR procedures. * Perform general administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
* Minimum *1 year of experience in administration, customer service, office support, or a related position*. * Previous Human Resources experience is an asset but *not required*. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Good organizational and time-management skills. * Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and computer-based systems. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to handle confidential information professionally. * Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
