About this role
As a temporary full-time Senior Financial Advisor in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, you are responsible for understanding the financial goals of your assigned portfolio of members and supporting their achievement. This includes the offering and fulfillment of financial services and products, including complex consumer lending and investments (including mutual funds). How youll be spending your time Member Experience and Sales Proactively identify members financial goals and provide advice and solutions to support their achievement through the provision of introductory financial planningProvide account, investment and lending products, within scope of position, to meet member needs:Memberships and accounts including lines of creditConsumer investment products including mutual fundsComplex consumer lending productsCardsRegistered productsSafety deposit boxesMobile banking solutionsDay to day banking needsConduct proactive outreach activities to educate members and prospective members on the value and function of our products and servicesIncrease retention and expansion of member relationships by referring members to appropriate subject matter experts, based on needs, and follow-up to ensure member satisfaction Compliance and Organizational Support Ensure complete, accurate and timely documentationAdhere to security and operational policies, procedures and operational controlsEnsure a healthy balance between opportunity & risk and between growth & profitability (e.g. through understanding and application of profitability margins in rate negotiation, fee subsidies, etc.)Positively represent Conexus externally to support the growth of our membership and to enhance credit union system support and collaborationProactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve operational efficienciesProvide support, assistance and backup as required for retail team
