*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in law enforcement, surveillance, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, and responding to incidents as they arise.
*Responsibilities*
* Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. * Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security protocols are being followed. * Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary. * Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences during shifts. * Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. * Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud situations and implementing preventative measures.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred. * Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive at all times. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration with team members. * Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. * Must possess a valid security guard license as required by provincial regulations. * Physical fitness is important; candidates should be able to stand for long periods and perform patrol duties effectively. Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
