*Break Press Operator Team lead*
Great opportunity! We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent *Break Press Operator. *
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM ? 4 PM 40 hours a week
Flexible to work on weekends and overtime as required Benefits after 3 months probationary period
*Job Responsibilities*
* Setup and operate manual Break Press * Provide expertise, support in all areas of the Break Press including setup and operation including but not limited to; punch press operations, measuring devices, gauges, tooling, material handling and safety * Adherence to production specifications * Preferred experience with AMADA operating systems * Follow all safety practices during machine operations * Review drawings of product prior to/during production * Ensure Break Press is setup and producing quality parts per spec. * Complete quality inspections of finished/in process product to meet product requirements * Perform daily preventative maintenance on machine(s)
*Required Education, Skills and Qualifications*
* High school diploma * Vocational or technical training an asset * 5-7 years Break Press setup/operation experience (AMADA) good to know. * Read and interpret blue prints, drawings and other specs. * Able to use measuring devices i.e. measuring tape, ruler, calipers * Must have problem solving skills * Strong organization skills * Able to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time * Able to lift up to 50 lbs
