*POSITION SUMMARY*
The Part Time Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative.
*KEY RESPONSABILITIES:*
* Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO?s receiving procedures * Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed * Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment * Pick/ship goods to customers in a efficiently and accurately manner * Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping * Fill out/prepare picking tickets * Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary * Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times * ·Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to your supervisor * Participate in yearly inventory count * Other duties as deemed necessary by Management
*QUALIFICATIONS*:
* HVAC experience an asset * Post-Secondary Education an asset * Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team * Strong sense of time organization and urgency * Good written and verbal communication skills * Desire to be a long term employee and contribute to the company?s overall success
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
