*Summary*
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pharmasave High Prairie. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. Your contributions will be vital in promoting health and wellness within our community.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. * Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information. * Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring timely reordering as needed. * Educate patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
*Requirements*
* Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent experience required. Registration required with ACP. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices. * Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an asset.
