About this role
I am looking for a reliable, patient, and compassionate caregiver for a child, who is on the autism spectrum. He is very loving and thrives with structure and consistency. This role involves morning and evening care during weekdays, as well as full-day care on weekends.
Position: Permanent, full-time
Location: Coaldale, Alberta
Hours: 30 hours per week
Wage: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:
* Supervise and care for child * Prepare and serve meals * Assist with dressing, bathing and personal hygiene * Assist with toileting * Organize activities, play and outings * Support emotional well-being and social development * Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home * Light housekeeping and laundry related to child care * Transport child to and from school/daycare and appointments * Follow established routines and instructions
Requirements:
* Experience with children is an asset * Experience with autism or special-needs children is an asset * Valid driver?s licence * First Aid/CPR * Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check * Reliable, patient, organized and caring
Work is performed in the employer?s private home in Coaldale. The schedule may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
