*Trailer Mechanic (310T 310J)*
We are seeking a Full Time Truck or Trailer Mechanic (310J or 310T) or an Apprentice Mechanic for our Tractor Trailer Repair Shop ? Day shift
*Key Duties and Responsibilities*
· Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled on equipment
· Ensure the tractors, or trailers meet MTO road safety regulations
· Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailer bodies, systems and components
· Test all systems and equipment for performance issues
· Maintain hubs, axels and adjust or replace them when required
· Check and repair the brake, electrical, hydraulic systems and air suspension
· Cleaning the fuel tanks on refrigerated equipment
· Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report all findings to management
*Qualifications*
· A minimum of two year?s heavy equipment mechanic experience
· Must have a 310T or 310J Truck Trailer Technician Certification or be Registered Apprentice with Skilled Trades ON
· Experienced with hand tools
· Physical ability and strength for heaving lifting, bending and reaching
· Ability to work well as part of a team
· Ability to respond quickly and have flexibility in a fast-paced and changing environment
· Good Communication skills
· Demonstrates reliability and integrity on daily basis
· Supply basic tools
· Possess a valid driver?s license
*Our Offerings:*
Pay Range: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Generally Monday to Friday day shifts with occasional weekends. Hours of Work will vary based on business operational needs.
