Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Assistant Facilities Manager:• Assists in the planning, coordination, and delivery of facilities management programs and services for buildings and infrastructure.• Monitors the operation and condition of building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems.• Conducts facility inspections and identifies maintenance, repair, operational, and safety requirements.• Coordinates and monitors the work of contractors, consultants, and service providers engaged in maintenance, repair, and construction activities.• Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of preventative maintenance and asset management programs.• Participates in the planning, coordination, and administration of facilities-related projects from initiation through completion.• Supports procurement activities including development of statements of work, technical requirements, cost estimates, and contra
