About this role
We are a small, family-run *residential painting company* (circa 1988), which focuses on high-quality paint finishes, presentation, and friendly customer service.
We are looking to grow our team for this season's painting projects. This position is targeted towards *experienced painters.*
Experience in customer service and hospitality is a plus
Most of our projects are in North York.
*The ideal applicant is:*
-Able to work consistently 40 ? 50 hrs/ week
-Able to communicate effectively with other team members.
-Already residing in Canada
-Speaking English fluently
-Own transportation and tools is preferred
-Comfortable working in a construction & renovation environment
-Comfortable working with power tools, such as palm sanders.
-Courteous and client conscious
-Able to work calmly under pressure when deadlines are to be met
-Able to work at ladder heights safely
-Must have, or be willing to get WSIB, WHIMIS, Working At Heights
-Subject to criminal background check.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$29.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate: * North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience: * painting: 1 year (preferred)
