About this role
Protection Officers (Constables) play a vital role in protecting the Parliamentary community and the millions who visit the Precinct each year. The Protection Officers (Constables) are armed personnel responsible for ensuring Parliament is safe and accessible so parliamentarians can carry out their legislative duties in a safe and secure environment. On-site presence required. Shifts rotate 24/7, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
