About this role
As a representative of Trico communities, the Mobile Patrol Security Guard is expected to consistently demonstrate the organization's core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Community and Opportunity, while contributing to a positive team culture and providing exceptional service to residents and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all of Trico Communities Policy's and Procedures are adhered to.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service to all tenants of the property in a timely manner
• Ensuring security duties are carried out in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws including The Criminal Code of Canada; Trespass to Property legislation
• Responding to all dispatch calls for Alarms, Building checks and Guard Service needs
• Travel will be required to to multiple sites
• Attending all designated patrols and doing full site patrols
• Driving company vehicles safely and obeying traffic laws
• Acting in a guard capacity as requested
• Completely detailed and accurate shift reports
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• A valid Alberta Security Licence required prior to employment
• An up to date Driver's Abstract
• A recognized and current First Aid and CPR certificate prior to employment
• Minimum of (2) years in a security industry
• Must be certified in Handcuff Training
• Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience managing challenging security situations
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, verbal and observational skills
• Exceptional judgement, common sense and decision making ability
• Be able to work independently, reacting appropriately in any situation by remaining calm and professional
• Ability to operate security equipment/systems, camera recording systems, computers and radios
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
