Position Details: Full Time Hours: 40 Hours a Week On-Call Coverage
Job Summary:
• Reviews, prepares and dispenses medications in compliance with hospital policies/procedures and applicable regulations and standards.
• Coordinates drug storage and drug preparation areas within the Pharmacy Department.
• Shares the duties as delegated by the Director of Pharmacy pertaining to the purchasing, receipt, and storage and inventory control of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature in-service meetings, workshops, seminars and keeps abreast of needs in fields of expertise.
• In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, may be required to perform the essential duties of the Director
Qualifications:
• Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school
• NM Pharmacy licensure
• Current BLS Certification or obtain per policy upon hire; maintain such certification
