About this role

responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously without routine Will be expected to cross-train on all CNC equipment.

• Performs basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of

• Interprets basic dimensions on a print and loads, unloads and inspects parts while maintaining dimensional tolerances within specifications.

• Accurately utilizes precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gage pins and depth micrometers.

• Detects equipment malfunctions and/or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine as required to ensure quality of production.

• Reports machining problems to supervisor for assistance.

• Maintains a clean work area, including equipment, and observes all safety

• Follows documented operator procedures including but not limited to inspection check sheets and operator notes.

• Performs other duties as needed and

requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year experience in setting up multi-axis CNCs; preferably routers, horizontal milling, and/or vertical milling machines.

• CNC programming is a

• Knowledge and use of precision measuring instrument, including but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, and

• Understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing

• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
