About this role
What You'll Do:
• Operates/utilizes kitchen equipment (e.g., oven, steam table, etc.); and utensils (e.g. pots, pans, knives, etc.) to prepare, portion, and serve food (e.g. meats, vegetables, soups, etc.) for all food service lines.
• Interacts with staff to prepare, portion, and serve food. Washes/sanitizes utensils and appliances after use. Relocates food, supplies, and dishes to designated areas.
• Follows general instructions; interprets menus. Exhibits behaviors reflective of Memorial's core values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
• Attends all mandatory education and in-services (i.e., team training, safety, infection control, etc.); completes mandatory health requirements.
What You'll Bring:
One (1) year experience in institutional food preparation experience.
Shift 1st
Hours 6am-2:30pm Monday -Friday
