Position Summary

This Role manages and coordinates Drilling & Completion materials and logistics, including the OCTG yard, ensuring that the correct procedures for receiving, issuing, handling, and returning materials are followed. Oversees all rental equipment and materials on site, maintains appropriate trackers, and coordinates local logistics activities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Drilling Engineering team to ensure timely provision of required materials and mobile heavy equipment to support Miran Energy drilling activities.

• Supervise the OCTG yard, loading / Offloading OCTG

• Supervise the inspection and recertification of all OCTG, tubing, and cabins.

• Ensure availability of all materials needed for planned drilling and workover operations, in alignment with the Well Operations Plan.

• Oversee the physical receipt of materials and equipment in accordance with company Materials Management Procedures. Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to drilling and completion materials, and manage relevant inventory documentation, including Goods Receiving Notes, Transfer Notes and Goods Dispatch Notes.

• To be OCTG Yard focal point for receiving, offloading, handling, and storage of all Miran Energy Drilling & Well service materials.

• Supervise the roustabout and rental equipment operators (cranes, forklifts, trucks, tankers) to ensure smooth logistical support for drilling operations.

• Coordinate with logistics contractors and service providers to ensure timely and compliant execution of delivery, handling, and transportation activities.

• Prepare and obtain approval for PTWs related to logistics activities, including lifting operations, inspections, and housekeeping.

• Liaise with Drilling site Drilling Material and Logistics Coordinator and Erbil warehouse drilling team to coordinate materials and logistical support for drilling and well service operations.

• Maintain up-to-date and well-organized records on Miran Energy Ltd.'s shared drive, including creating folders and tracking material usage history by well.

• Provide a daily logistics report detailing equipment movements, rental equipment time sheets (e.g., cranes, forklifts, trucks).

• Coordinate local freight and logistics in the most cost-effective manner, between OCTG yard and drilling site, Suli and Erbil.

• Support other Supply Chain team members as needed, particularly with IT or data analysis tasks.

• Communicate professionally with all stakeholders, consistently following IT and communication protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree.

• Experience: Minimum of seven years of experience in drilling field logistics within the oil and gas industry.

• Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong background in materials and logistics management specific to oil & gas or drilling operations.

• In-depth knowledge of drilling & Completion materials all the Casing and Tubing handling, including identification, inventory management, and loading/unloading procedures.

• Solid understanding of drilling operation programs and the associated materials; fully familiar with well service, workover, and well intervention activities.

• Understanding of Mobile heavy equipment charges and costs, with good background about their contracts and agreements.

• Extensive experience and awareness of HSE procedures related to drilling operations, including Permit to Work (PTW) processes for all logistics activities.

• Familiarity with inventory management and procurement systems.

• Have good drilling materials QA/QC background.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; capable of working effectively with multi-cluster teams, including both local and expatriate personnel.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and resolve issues promptly.

• Language skills: Proficiency in English and Kurdish Knowledge

Physical Requirements

• This role is primarily Field based, with visits to the Miran Energy Ltd. Erbil warehouse conducting general inventory exercise.
