About this role
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas, including hallways, elevators, stairways, lobbies, and other assigned areas.
• Collect, transport, and distribute linens, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies throughout the hotel.
• Remove and dispose of trash and waste from guest rooms, public areas, employee areas, and other assigned locations.
• Assist Room Attendants with the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms, including delivering supplies, removing soiled linens, and assisting with room turnover as needed.
• Clean and maintain housekeeping closets, carts, storage areas, and equipment to ensure they remain organized and properly stocked.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for towels, linens, amenities, supplies, or other housekeeping-related needs while providing courteous and professional service.
• Clean and maintain assigned floors and common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other cleaning duties.
• Transport soiled and clean linens to and from the laundry and designated storage areas while following proper handling procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special cleaning projects as assigned by Housekeeping leadership.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards, and room deficiencies to the appropriate department or supervisor.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety standards, including proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Operate housekeeping equipment, such as vacuums, floor machines, carts, and other equipment, safely and according to established procedures.
• Assist with the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of areas used for hotel functions or special events when assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and promptly address spills, debris, or other potential hazards.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated knowledge of hotel operations. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience in problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred. Prior experience in a hotel/hospitality environment is desirable.

$21.00 - $23.00 hour based on experience
