Hiring Range: $25.50- $29.96. The maximum pay for this position is $34.42.
The Homeless Services Coordinator provides front-line administrative and direct case management support to individuals experiencing homelessness in Eagle County. Operating with a strong housing-first and trauma-informed approach, this role manages intake, provides direct client services and resource referrals, maintains database records, and assists clients in accessing essential supplies. This is primarily an office-based role with continuous public interaction and occasional field work.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 5:30pm.

Essential Functions
• Direct Client Services & Case Management: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and de-escalating environment. Conduct intake assessments, coordinate housing/resource referrals, advocate for client needs, and provide support for Permanent Supportive Housing residents at Lake Creek Village.
• Operations & Supply Oversight: Manage front office inquiries (phone, email, walk-ins) and oversee inventory and access for essential client amenities (laundry, showers, lockers, food, and toiletries).
• Data & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely client records in HMIS and applicable databases to ensure compliance with federal, state, and grant reporting standards.
• Community & Safety: Collaborate with regional community partners (shelters, healthcare providers, food banks) and adhere to safety, security, and Eagle County Government core values.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification, or Registration:
• Associate's degree in social work, human services, or a related field preferred or a combination of education and experience which produces the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• At least two years full time experience in customer service, public assistance or related fields or any combination of education and experience which produces the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or other vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of basic case management principles and housing practices.
• Lived experience with homelessness or housing instability is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) oral and written skills are required.
• Valid Driver's license required. This position will be expected to travel to various locations throughout the Eagle River Valley and Roaring Fork Valley to attend and participate in work-related meetings and events.
• Personal vehicle use may be required with applicable mileage reimbursement.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong interpersonal, de-escalation, and trauma-informed communication skills.
• Proficiency with HMIS software, Microsoft Office / Google Suite, and general office procedures.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, professional boundaries, and cultural competency.
