WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Performs general accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Provide high-quality customer service to clients, family members, and other outside parties and serve as the point of contact for all billing inquiries and questions.
• Helps to maintain the general ledgers, reconciles accounts to subledgers monthly and annually, and helps in closing the monthly books.
• Reconciles bank accounts daily and monthly, verifies activity, and addresses issues with appropriate contact.
• Works with appropriate team members to resolve all ACH/EFT returns.
• Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll entries, intercompany accounts, and other financial accounts.
• Review AP invoice coding, review invoice approvals by department managers, and serve as back up for AP staff in processing invoices for payment.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance as needed; gathers necessary account information and documents to aid in the completion of annual audits.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (preferably in healthcare)
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
