Job Overview RectorSeal is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and distribution operations at our Earth City, Missouri, facility. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position directs associates, delivers operational results, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards.
The supervisor provides hands-on leadership across receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, kitting, packaging, and other warehouse functions as business needs require. This role develops associates, balances priorities, resolves operational problems, and follows through on corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities • Direct daily work, staffing, and priorities across assigned warehouse functions; set productivity, accuracy, service, and quality expectations and follow up on results. • Supervise, train, coach, and develop associates; address attendance, conduct, and performance concerns promptly and consistently, and complete evaluations. • Maintain inventory integrity through accurate system transactions, location control, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and timely corrective actions. • Prepare for and support inventory counts and audits; verify documentation, investigate variances, and resolve recurring causes of inaccuracy. • Oversee receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, kitting, and packaging activities as assigned; coordinate work across departments to meet customer commitments. • Enforce company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and powered industrial truck rules; conduct safety observations, report and investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions. • Monitor operational KPIs, communicate risks and progress to management, and take ownership of problems through resolution. • Partner with Planning, Customer Success, Manufacturing, and other teams to resolve shortages, damages, backorders, and process issues. • Identify root causes of recurring failures and improve standard work, warehouse organization, and training.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience in a distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment.
• Working knowledge of warehouse safety, inventory control, and accurate warehouse transactions.
• Working knowledge of ERP or warehouse management system
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience leading inventory accuracy programs, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training and/or certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Work Environment This role requires regular presence in a warehouse that is not climate-controlled, including dock and storage areas, and the use of appropriate PPE. The position also involves computer work, communication, and coordination. Physical demands may include extended standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Vision and mobility sufficient to perform operational duties safely are required. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
