Minimum Qualifications:
• 1 or more years of experience in clinical patient setting preferred
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge helpful
• Valid state license and BMO certification
Preferred:
• Previous experience working as an BMO preferred
Essential Functions
• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Produce quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injury
• Educate patients regarding the procedure
• Create and maintain patient electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide patients with copies of the images upon request
• Ensure images are in the PACS system
• Maintain quantity and quality control checks to assure X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies.
• Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed to equipment.
• Protect patient and other personnel from radiation hazards
• Maintain radiographic supplies
