About this role
Guests in The Madison Concourse Hotel's beautiful Governor's Club Lounge enjoy complimentary breakfast, top-shelf cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and desserts in the private lounge with a breathtaking view of the State Capitol. As a Governor's Club Lounge Attendant, you play a part in making this a great Madison experience for our guests! We're looking for a true people-person with knowledge of Madison to give our guests recommendations for food, fun, and other things to do while in our wonderful city.
Details:
• Full time, evening position
• Hours: 3pm-11pm (including weekends and holidays)
• Starting wage: $17/hour; this role is eligible for gratuity
• Flexibility in scheduling is a must!
Some of the things you'll be in charge of:
• Set up and maintain the buffet with appetizers and desserts prepared fresh by our culinary team.
• Light cleaning to maintain the cleanliness of the Governor's Club Lounge.
• Refresh complimentary amenities for our guests throughout the evening.
• Assisting guests with any questions they have about the hotel or surrounding area.
• Acting as a concierge to make recommendations for things to do and see around Madison.
• Flexibility to jump into additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Customer Service background required.
• Previous hotel or related experience preferred.
• People-person with a passion for hospitality
• Familiar with Madison- where to eat, what to see, and how to have fun!
