Job Functions:
• Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
• Ensures effective communication with Maintenance Operations Center and line stations to provide timely and accurate handling of materials and services requests.
• Ensures accurate coordination of resources to provide 24/7 coverage for AOG support.
• Manage procurement of parts to ensure adequate inventory levels to support the operation and AOG events.
• Responsible for the development and adherence to procurement, materials planning and AOG Materials processes.
• Manage processes to meet company goals in initiatives to manage inventory growth, reduce shipping costs, decrease parts transfers and reduce materials spend for heavy check.
• Provides materials planning, coordination and support to the Maintenance Operations group to maximize planned maintenance visits.
• Collaborate with Technical Stores to monitor and provide direction for unserviceable inventory.
• Continuous analysis of inventory levels, reorder points and provides recommendations for management of inventory including allocation levels at Air Wisconsin warehouse locations.
• Ensures effective mentoring of direct reports.
• Provide analysis support and review in coordination with Maintenance for materials budget and variance analysis.
• Responsible for the creation and oversight of metrics supporting departmental goals.
• Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Participates in continuous process improvement.

Education & Experience:
Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Business or related field or equivalent practical career experience.
• Knowledgeable and qualified for all FAA, DOT and IATA regulations concerning material procurement and shipping (including DOT HAZMAT Dangerous Goods Handling Training).
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications including strong Excel skills.
• General knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple time sensitive projects and work under pressure.
• Ability to develop strong partnership with peers, internal customers and vendors.
• Strong analytical and math skills
Preferred:
• 3 -5 years' experience in Materials Planning or inventory control.
• 2 years of experience in Airline operations.
• Knowledge of AS400
• Interpersonal Skills
• Communication Skills
• Valid A&P license

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Travel:
• Corporate office
• Majority of time spent at low activity level, i.e., sitting.
• Occasional standing/walking/movement required.
