Reports to: Mitigation Manager (Tripple Master IICRC with 30 years' experience in the industry)

Regular Hourly Pay: $19-25 (determined by applicants experience and certifications)

After Hours Emergency Water Damage Tier Pay (can discuss at interview time):

• Tier 1 $35 hr/$50 hr

• Tier 2 $40 hr/55 hr

• Tier 3 $45 hr/$60 hr

• Tier 4 $50 hr/$65 hr

Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water, fire, and mold damage. This position requires a hands-on approach to cleaning, and mitigation work with structures while ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The Restoration Technician will work closely with clients to restore their properties to pre-loss conditions.

REQUIREMENTS OF EMPLOYMENT AT BOLDENS:

• Must pass a background test (NO FELONIES nor lower charges violent crimes, theft, drug/alcohol, alcohol related driving violations).

• Consenting to background check is required conditions of accepting employment at Bolden's.

• Must have a valid driving license with no SS22 requirements. All field employees drive company vehicles, so there can be no exceptions.

• All Company vehicles are equipped with 360 AI camera systems.

• Cannot have a pending case at the time of being considered for open job position. Any pending cases must be resolved in a satisfactory status prior to the time of being considered for interviewing.

Pay will be determined by the work experience and amount of training that will have to be provided. All hires are at least 90-day probation period.

This is a restoration company, so the position does require going on an on-call water damage team that is on call 1 week a month for after hour emergencies if they come in. After hours water damage is paid on an elevated pay scale that is a tier system. Each employee goes through their evaluation to determine their tier and sign an agreement to the duties of each tier’s responsibilities when they move up. The tier pay rates are listed at the top of this job listing.

Duties

• Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.

• Conduct fire restoration services such as cleaning soot and smoke damage from various surfaces; set up equipment and fog when necessary.

• Execute mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of hazardous materials.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and restoration work.

• Assess damage on-site and communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others during restoration projects.

• Document every part of the job in Encircle- mobile mitigation platform.

• Be able to be on your feet for many hours and be able to lift 30-50 lbs at times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restoration industry--Required

• IICRC certified - Preferred –Company does pay to maintain all certifications and obtain additional certifications that may be needed.

• Ability to complete training and utilize Encircle platform at proficient level by end of 90-day probationary period.

• Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques is essential.

• Familiarity with fire restoration processes is a plus.

• Familiarity with mold restoration processes is a plus.

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.

• A valid driver’s license is required-all employees have to be able to drive fleet vehicles, including larger box trucks.
