Your future role "Take on a new challenge and apply your operational excellence and continuous improvement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates. You'll drive impactful change by deploying and sustaining the APSYS (Alstom Production System) standards to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and employee engagement. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, and HR), lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and coach leaders and employees on continuous improvement methodologies, and much more." We’ll look to you for: Driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, and Problem-Solving methodologies., Ensuring the implementation and maturity of continuous improvement programs., Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety., Facilitating Kaizen workshops and improvement events., Developing internal capabilities through training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives., Establishing and maintaining performance dashboards and KPIs., Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support industrialization and transformation projects." Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. , Experience or understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and performance management practices. , Knowledge of production systems and industrial processes. , Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, and Standard Work. , A certification or communication skill: Six Sigma certification or strong communication and presentation abilities. , Strong leadership and influencing skills. , Analytical and problem-solving mindset. , Results-oriented approach to achieving goals. , Ability to work in a multicultural and matrix environment. , Coaching and mentoring capabilities to develop internal capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
