Manufacturing Painter Location: San Leandro, CASchedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMTraining Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMPay: Competitive, based on experience Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Painter to join a growing production team in San Leandro. This role is responsible for applying high-quality finishes to plastic components using commercial spray-painting equipment. Candidates with experience in automotive body painting, furniture finishing, industrial painting, or product finishing are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
• Spray paint plastic parts using HVLP spray guns and commercial painting equipment. • Prepare parts for finishing through cleaning, masking, sanding, and setup. • Apply paint and finishing materials according to specifications and quality standards. • Inspect finished products for color consistency, coverage, and overall quality. • Perform touch-ups and rework as needed. • Safely operate pneumatic tools and work with adhesives and finishing materials. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow all safety procedures and properly wear required PPE, including a Tyvek suit and respirator. • Meet daily production goals and quality expectations. Required Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in painting, finishing, or coating applications. • Experience using HVLP spray guns or similar spray-painting equipment. • Automotive, furniture, cabinetry, industrial, or manufacturing painting preferred. • Experience working with pneumatic tools and industrial equipment. • Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs regularly. • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Work Environment
• Warehouse-based manufacturing facility. • Standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift. • Use of commercial painting equipment, adhesives, and pneumatic tools. • Required use of respirator, Tyvek suit, and other personal protective equipm Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.28/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
