About this role

Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on building and assembling motors for the aerospace industry. You work with hand and power tools, follow detailed blueprints, and perform mechanical assembly tasks that support high-quality motor production.Responsibilities

• Assemble motors and related components for aerospace applications according to engineering specifications and blueprints. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to perform accurate mechanical assembly and motor wiring tasks. • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during daily assembly work. • Perform soldering on components as required to ensure proper electrical and mechanical connections. • Carry out mechanical assembly tasks while seated at a workstation for extended periods, maintaining focus and precision. • Inspect assembled motors and components for quality, functionality, and adherence to specifications. • Identify and perform basic motor repair and rework as needed to meet production and quality standards. • Follow established production processes and procedures to meet daily output and quality goals. • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and handle tools and materials in a safe, responsible manner. • Comply with all facility policies, including security and safety guidelines applicable to aerospace manufacturing. Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar mechanically inclined role. • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints for mechanical assembly and motor-related work. • Hands-on experience using a wide range of hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly environment. • Soldering experience required for assembling and connecting components. • Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes, including motor wiring and basic motor repair. • Ability to sit at a workstation and perform detailed mechanical assembly for extended periods while maintaining accuracy. • Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a production setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production or manufacturing environments, particularly involving mechanical assembly. • Familiarity with aerospace-related components or assemblies is beneficial. • Comfort working with detailed technical documentation and quality standards. • Strong problem-solving skills to address minor assembly or repair issues. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an assembly team.
