Job Title: Machine Operator**All shifts available** Job DescriptionThis role operates and monitors production machinery to inspect, finish, and package printed label products on the 2nd shift. You perform both visual and automated inspections, complete finishing operations on rolls of labels, and accurately record production results while maintaining high quality standards and safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

• Perform visual and automated inspection of printed products to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency. • Carry out finishing operations to complete rolls of labels and prepare them for packaging and shipment. • Operate production equipment including Slitter, Seamer, Inspection Table, and Cutter in a safe and efficient manner. • Record results of operations, inspections, and production counts on designated forms and systems with accuracy and attention to detail. • Monitor machine performance, identify basic mechanical issues, and communicate any problems or irregularities to the appropriate personnel. • Use basic hand tools, rulers, and calculators to complete measurements, adjustments, and production-related tasks. • Follow established manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and quality standards throughout all tasks. • Collaborate with team members and interface professionally with other departments to support smooth production flow. • Manage self-directed tasks, prioritize work effectively, and maintain organized work areas. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support overall production and operational needs. • Work normal 2nd shift hours and overtime as required to meet production schedules. Essential Skills

• Ability to operate production machinery such as Slitter, Seamer, Inspection Table, and Cutter. • Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with manufacturing equipment. • Basic computer skills to record production data and complete forms. • Basic math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and production counts. • Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow work instructions and communicate with team members. • Ability to use a ruler, calculator, and basic hand tools accurately and safely. • Strong attention to detail to perform precise inspections and maintain quality standards. • Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks and maintain orderly work areas. • Team-oriented mindset and good interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others. • Professionalism when interfacing with all departments within the facility. • Ability to be punctual and reliably present for scheduled shifts and overtime. • Capacity for self-directed task completion, working independently while meeting expectations. • High school education. • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. • Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus; visual acuity correctable to Snellen 20/20 is required. • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and reach overhead on a constant basis during the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior related experience in machine operating in a manufacturing setting (preferred). • Experience with production processes and general production work. • Familiarity with printing or label manufacturing environments. • Experience performing visual inspections in a manufacturing process. • Background as a machine operator or in similar production roles. The environment involves operating production machinery such as slitters, seamers, inspection tables, and cutters, along with regular use of rulers, calculators, and basic hand tools. Work is physically active, requiring constant standing, walking, squatting, bending, and reaching overhead, as well as lifting up to 35 lbs. The position requires close and color vision with visual acuity correctable to Snellen 20/20 to perform detailed inspections of printed products. You work in a production-focused setting where safety, quality, and adherence to established manufacturing processes are essential, and attire is appropriate for a hands-on manufacturing and machine operation environment Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranbury, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
