Salary: £28,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: Experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering software features, and supporting and maintaining existing applications and tools.Experience as a developer using React, Next.js, .NET (C#), and SQL.Proven track record of application development and support in an enterprise context.Familiarity with Agile development and/or DevOps environments, including practices such as automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices for software design, build, testing, and deployment.Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to build working relationships, influence and challenge constructively, listen, and share knowledge and ideas.Strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities.Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and investigating new concepts.Self-motivation and initiative to implement solutions with limited guidance.Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to problem-solving and finding root causes. Responsibilities: Design, build, test, and deploy application and framework changes that deliver business value, meet stakeholder expectations, and avoid technical debt.Work independently and collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, applying relevant standards, policies, and organisational knowledge.Provide informal guidance and share knowledge with colleagues.Help ensure the team delivers high-quality, maintainable software that adheres to internal standards and policies.Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers, minimising their impact on delivery and supported products.Support improvements and innovation in team technologies and practices, including more efficient software development processes and improved customer experiences.Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences to share ideas and knowledge, provide updates, influence, challenge, and receive feedback.Partner with stakeholders to solve business challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
