Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 per year

Responsibilities: We expect you to lead development and testing and manage the team day to day, serving as its central communication point.We expect you to line-manage and develop our developers and QA & Support Analyst, set priorities, and support their growth.We expect you to take overall responsibility for software testing standards, work closely with our QA & Support Analyst, and lead testing of our Analytics platform.We expect you to take overall responsibility for releases, coordinating testing, app availability across iOS, Android and Amazon Fire, customer communications, and support articles.We expect you to ensure issues and new features are clearly specified, with unambiguous success criteria.We expect you to track blocked work and follow up on anything holding up development.We expect you to monitor delivery and its impact on customers, raising concerns early.We expect you to find ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including using AI to boost team productivity.We expect you to coordinate with support so help materials are ready for launches, and with marketing so new features can be promoted to customers.We expect you to hold post-mortems when things go wrong and help prevent recurrence.We expect you to edit and expand existing designs through hands-on design work; this does not involve creating designs from scratch.We expect you to support the day-to-day running of our Azure environment by scaling resources, restarting services, and troubleshooting with developers using logs and diagnostic data. This is a broad, hands-on Development & Delivery Manager role reporting directly to our company directors, with genuine autonomy and influence over how we build and deliver our products. We offer a salary of £60,000–£65,000 depending on experience, a company pension, 28 days annual holiday, casual dress, company events, free and on-site parking, and the option of hybrid working once settled. The role is initially office-based in Sandhurst, Berkshire, then hybrid with regular office days each week.
