Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, notebooks and semantic models.Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard development, data modelling, DAX measures and reporting best practices.Strong data modelling and data engineering experience, including SQL, data ingestion, transformation and pipeline development.Experience working with modern data platforms and collaborating with data engineering teams.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to turn complex requirements into meaningful insights.Knowledge of data governance, security, permissions, lineage and enterprise reporting standards.Ideally, exposure to Microsoft Foundry, Fabric Data Agents and AI-enabled analytics, Service Principals and Azure App registrations, API integrations and token-based authentication, and Agile delivery environments. Responsibilities: Design and develop robust data models, semantic models, datasets, dashboards and analytics products.Build and enhance solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines and notebooks.Create engaging and insightful Power BI dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.Help develop and mature our enterprise data lake, ensuring data is governed, accessible and AI-ready.Support the development of Fabric Data Agents, Microsoft Foundry solutions and AI-enabled analytics products.Work with stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical data solutions.Contribute to data governance, security, documentation and continuous improvement across our analytics estate. We are East West Rail, delivering a nationally significant railway project to improve transport connections between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge. The project is one of the UKs largest infrastructure programmes and aims to unlock the potential of the Oxford to Cambridge Growth Corridor. We are seeking a Data Analytics Developer to join our growing Data Centre of Excellence and help expand our Microsoft Fabric capability, develop our enterprise data platform and support AI-powered decision-making.
