Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year
Requirements: Relevant experience in technology strategy, CTO advisory, enterprise architecture, innovation, digital strategy, technology transformation, or consulting; both high-potential and established profiles are welcome.Broad understanding across the technology stack, with the curiosity and ability to investigate unfamiliar subjects in depth.Ability to work strategically, connecting technology trends with business, commercial, economic, and customer considerations.Experience developing technology or domain strategies and producing strategy documents, white papers, recommendations, or executive-level materials.Broad knowledge of disciplines such as technical or solution architecture, business analysis, and data; familiarity with TOGAF, SAFe, waterfall, agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps.Strong business acumen, analytical judgment, planning, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.Confident communication, presentation, and influencing skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.Collaborative approach and credibility when working with senior leaders, domain owners, technical specialists, delivery teams, and partners across functions and countries.Autonomy, reliability, and comfort working through ambiguity, taking ownership with limited direction and meeting commitments with accurate, high-quality work.Responsible use of AI-assisted tools, including protecting company information, checking sources, and understanding final outputs.Intellectual curiosity, integrity, adaptability, and a technology-neutral, value-led mindset.English proficiency at C1 level or comparable. Responsibilities: Translate strategic goals into prioritised initiatives, investment cases, technology plans, and governed delivery roadmaps.Lead horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify developments that could influence our company or customers over the next three to five years.Produce white papers, strategic recommendations, and executive-level decision materials that make complex topics clear and actionable.Design and run innovation frameworks and programmes, including labs, hackathons, and proof-of-concept or proof-of-value activities, taking ideas through incubation and pilot stages.Work with stakeholders to diagnose business challenges, optimise processes, and recommend technologies based on value, feasibility, and risk.Evaluate architecture and solution proposals, balancing creativity and pace with governance, standards, and commercial discipline.Apply broad technology knowledge to assignments and investigate unfamiliar domains by engaging specialists and validating assumptions.Support strategic work for customers and major programmes, including periods of on-site engagement when needed.Build productive relationships with technology vendors, partners, analysts, and industry communities to access insight, innovation, and commercial value.Influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional and cross-country initiatives through clear thinking, presentations, and written work, without relying on direct authority.Act as a thought leader and mentor, sharing knowledge and championing best practice in technology strategy, architecture, analysis, and responsible innovation.
