Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: Production-first mindset and calm, structured troubleshooting under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills to work across Operations, Engineering, Finance, and third-party vendorsExperience supporting systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or in a role with high uptime requirementsStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP, VLANs, and routing concepts, and how connectivity affects shop-floor systemsPractical experience supporting Windows endpoints and basic server or service dependencies in an operational environmentWorking knowledge of SQL fundamentalsConfidence coordinating vendors and maintaining disciplined documentationDesirable: experience supporting production data systems and integrationsDesirable: experience with IT segmentation concepts and vendor access governanceDesirable: Power BI or reporting awarenessDesirable: experience with ticketing systems and basic ITIL-style incident and change processes Responsibilities: Support and maintain plant-floor PCs, terminals, and industrial endpoints used in production operationsTroubleshoot Operational Technology connectivity in collaboration with Engineering and vendorsSupport OT network structure and segmentation, including VLANs and access pathsOwn the reliability, monitoring, and issue resolution of production systems and data flowsWork with the DBA and Systems Development Engineer to troubleshoot SQL and ETL job failures affecting production reporting or operational decision-makingConduct daily health checks on production data flowsReview production-impacting alerts and incidents daily and ensure the appropriate escalation path is followedMaintain an up-to-date Operational Technology asset inventoryHelp monitor, maintain, and develop business data systems and reporting, ensuring data quality and documentationWork with the Infrastructure and Security Engineer to support secure OT network segmentationWork with the DBA and Systems Development Engineer to maintain resilient SQL and reporting pipelines Technologies: ETLSupportITILNetworkPower BISQLSecurityWindowsFlow More:
