Responsibilities: Collate and analyse data to inform justification papers, including Government Green Book Five Case Model documents, briefing papers and options papers.Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog items.Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.Ensure technology initiatives align with CTP HQ strategies while allowing flexibility for change.Work with CTP colleagues, including Finance, Business Change and Commercial Services, as well as external agencies, to ensure projects and programmes are suitably commissioned, designed and delivered.Support delivery teams in applying Agile practices and tools, including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.Represent Technology and CTP at project and programme boards and forums, including corporate forums and those at partner agencies.Manage up to two members of staff. Were recruiting a Business Analyst for Technology at Counter Terrorism Policing HQ, working at the heart of national Counter Terrorism Policing with diverse and cross-functional teams. The role involves helping shape user-centric, evidence-based and delivery-ready technology solutions, informing business cases and contributing to delivery squads. The position is based in West Brompton and is in person. The starting salary is £63,409, including a £60,400 basic salary, a £2,009 location allowance and a £1,000 non-pensionable allowance. The basic salary increases annually to a maximum of £65,886. Benefits include a company pension, employee discount and store discount. The role does not attract Shift Disturbance Allowance; this allowance ceases upon appointment for employees currently in shift-working roles.
