Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year
Requirements: Must work onsite in Glasgow five days per week.Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience developing reusable React components and component-based architectures.Experience with dynamic, configuration-driven UI layouts and metadata- or JSON-driven interfaces.Strong understanding of Front End architecture and design patterns.Experience integrating REST APIs.Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.Experience with Git and modern Front End development practices.6+ years of Frontend/UI development experience, including strong recent experience with React.js and Next.js.Preferred: Experience with React Service Components, design systems and component libraries, Storybook, Redux, Zustand, Context API or similar state-management frameworks, Next.js SSR, SSG and ISR, Front End testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library or Cypress, CI/CD and cloud-based application deployment, web performance optimization, and accessibility standards. Responsibilities: Design and develop modern, scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js.Build reusable, modular, and maintainable React UI components.Develop configuration-driven and metadata-driven dynamic layouts.Implement dynamic page rendering based on JSON, API responses, schemas, or configuration files.Develop and maintain React Service Components and component-based UI architecture.Work with UX/UI designers, product managers, Back End engineers, and other stakeholders.Integrate Front End applications with REST APIs and Back End services.Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and other Next.js capabilities where appropriate.Develop reusable design-system components and maintain consistency across applications.Troubleshoot UI issues and optimize Front End performance.Write clean, scalable, and testable code using TypeScript and JavaScript.Participate in code reviews and contribute to Front End architecture and technical decisions.
