We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for our Web Platform team. Our platform enables games and real-time 3D content to run in browsers on internet-connected devices. This role focuses on the Unity Web runtime, not website development, and involves deep technical challenges such as multithreading, reducing build size, and improving time to playability. You will work with engineers who helped invent the browser technology we build on and contribute to a new partnership that brings our work to a broad audience. The role is available in Brighton, United Kingdom; Helsinki, Finland; Vilnius, Lithuania; and remotely in the United Kingdom, Finland, or Lithuania. The listed base salary ranges are £55,700–£83,500 (UK Zone A), £63,700–£95,500 (UK Zone B), €62,700–€94,100 (Finland Zone A), and €54,200–€81,400 (Lithuania Zone A), based on primary work location. The role may also be eligible for equity awards and company incentive plans; final compensation depends on location, experience, background, and skills. We offer eligible team members benefits that may vary by country and employment status, including health, life, and disability insurance; commute subsidies; employee stock ownership; retirement or pension plans; vacation and personal days; parental leave and family-care programs; mental health and wellbeing support; employee resource groups; training and development; and volunteering and donation matching. We are Unity, a game engine company powering games and 3D experiences across industries including automotive, manufacturing, and healthcare. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and providing a comfortable, positive interview experience, including accommodations when needed.
