Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements: Experience in catastrophe modelling, preferably in an insurance environmentExperience and knowledge of the RMS detailed loss modelling platformCompetence in SQL and VBA, with proven experience building reporting toolsKnowledge of GIS tools is an advantageStrong numerical data handling and analysis skillsAbility to understand and communicate technical conceptsAbility to work effectively individually and as part of a teamStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with employees across our business platforms Responsibilities: Pre-model underwriting submissions for Property, Energy, Marine, and other lines as business needs requireAssist with portfolio reporting, including preparing and managing risk modelling for the monthly roll-up process across multiple lines of businessPrepare regulatory returnsComplete ad hoc projects as requiredUnderstand and interpret slips to determine key modelling assumptions and ensure data is complete, liaising with brokers and other parties to obtain additional information where necessaryProvide analytics to support underwriting decisions, working closely with underwriting teams across our London, Europe, and APAC platforms Technologies: ExcelGISSupportSQLVBA More:
