About this role

Salary: £45,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality verification that minimizes bug escapes.Demonstrated experience specifying, creating, and debugging system test environments; authoring test cases; tracking results; and troubleshooting simulation or emulation mismatches and test failures.Hands-on experience with emulation platforms such as ZeBu, Palladium, or Strato.Familiarity with RTL languages such as SystemVerilog or Verilog.Experience collaborating with EDA vendors to introduce capabilities, resolve tool issues, and contribute to future tool improvements.Ability to plan system test tasks and produce realistic effort and time estimates.Additional qualities that may strengthen your application include experience with requirements definition and management; familiarity with UVM-based verification environments; experience with CI platforms and version control tools such as Git; scripting proficiency in Python or Perl; experience testing embedded-device software; practical knowledge of machine learning and neural networks; and understanding of efficiency tuning and performance analysis for large-scale emulation systems. Responsibilities: Design and build test automation, develop and run test cases, and work with modern tools and infrastructure.Help develop and deploy advanced emulation environments for neural accelerators.Support system validation, help bridge silicon development and real-world deployment, and contribute to reducing time to market.Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and software engineers to optimize emulation workflows and use cases.Support design bring-up, debugging, feature validation, and system validation.Influence verification strategy and methodology, take ownership of complex work packages, and drive them to successful completion.
