Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements: Hands-on experience with React.js, Java, Spring Boot microservices, Oracle databases, Kafka messaging, and GKP deployments.Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages.Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages.Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline, such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools at work, such as for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation, with the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.Exposure to cloud technologies. Responsibilities: Execute standard software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language, with limited guidance.Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot while considering upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.Apply technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve basic-complexity technical problems.Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.Apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized from automation.Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making for secure, stable application development.Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills to develop secure, stable code and systems.Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
