Salary: £39,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements: At least 12 months of Electrical Design/Support Engineer experience in a similar or support role.A degree or relevant experience.Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD is an advantage.A good understanding of electrical British Standards and regulations, including BS 7671.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to reason, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders.Collaborative experience managing multiple concurrent issues and liaising with other departments and stakeholders.Ability to identify bugs, investigate the root causes of defects, collect and analyze data, and report issues clearly.Strong time-management and organizational skills.Ability to communicate complex electrical concepts to people at all levels, including external customers. Responsibilities: Represent our MEP Application Support Team through customer communication channels, supporting customers and understanding their needs relating to our Prodesign, Protect, Singlecable, and PowerNET applications.Provide first-line support, answering incoming calls, emails, and internal requests courteously and within defined timescales.Resolve customer queries about electrical design calculations and regulations using BS 7671 standards, with a focus on emerging 3D applications.Take ownership of customer issues and queries, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.Contribute to improvements in internal processes, ensuring they are documented and relevant staff are trained and briefed.Follow departmental processes, record time spent on work, and complete customer support tickets, including defects and bugs, in the CRM database.Liaise with internal and external support staff and developers to understand customer issues and, where appropriate, propose, plan, and manage solutions.Help resolve customer-reported defects and issues through to satisfactory completion in accordance with company procedures.Carry out other duties as required.
