Salary: £53,000 - 66,000 per year
Requirements: Core consulting skills, including building client relationships, adapting to changing schedules, reliable and high-quality task delivery, flexibility in working hours and locations, and teamwork.Studying toward a recognised professional certification in Cyber Security or equivalent hands-on experience.Experience managing multiple stakeholders and balancing listening and speaking with empathy.Ambition and creativity, with an interest in safeguarding UK national infrastructure and developing as a cyber expert.Willingness to gain experience mentoring junior team members.Basic understanding of security compliance and control frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27002, or IEC 62443.Basic understanding of security maturity and frameworks such as NIST CSF Implementation Tiers, C2M2, or NCSC CAF.Experience assisting with project delivery and associated measures such as time, cost, and quality.Willingness to gain experience measuring an organisation or digital system against security criteria.A good attitude and willingness to learn; experience in every listed area is not required.The role requires pre-employment screening under the UK Governments Baseline Personnel Security Standard. National Security Vetting may also apply, including eligibility for Security Check or Developed Vetting. Responsibilities: Listen to and empathise with customers, building strong client relationships.Define potential solutions to customer problems using available information, experience, and technical knowledge.Frame threats and security concepts in terms of risk, helping customers connect them to their objectives.Help define proportionate security solutions across people, processes, and technology.Help define, implement, and perform assessments of customer environments against criteria covering people, processes, and technology.Help develop customer offerings as part of our business-winning process and contribute to technical development of products for use across customer sectors.Assess organisations cyber maturity and compliance, and help customers remediate security issues in a proportionate way aligned with their objectives.Contribute to solving customer problems in an agile, innovative, and team-oriented manner.
