Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Experience developing software for real-time or embedded systems using C/C++.A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience working within an R&D or product development environment.A collaborative approach and passion for developing high-quality software.Experience in medical devices, control systems, Agile development, or regulated environments is advantageous. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain real-time control software used within our radiotherapy systems.Design and implement robust, high-quality solutions that meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.Work closely with software engineers, systems engineers, and architects to deliver new features and enhancements.Contribute to software quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.Support technical planning, estimation, and delivery of development work.Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with development processes and industry standards.Share knowledge, contribute to problem solving, and help drive a collaborative engineering culture.
