Requirements: 15+ years of experience in MES solution architecture and implementation, with strong expertise in Siemens OpcenterProven experience delivering enterprise-scale MES programs across multi-site manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of shopfloor operations, manufacturing execution, and production systemsHands-on experience with Opcenter modules (Execution / APS / Quality / Intelligence)Experience integrating MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, IoT, and data platformsStrong knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88, and manufacturing data modelsExcellent communication skills to engage both plant-level and executive stakeholdersSiemens Opcenter certifications preferredExperience in industrial manufacturing, automotive, aerospace & defense, or life sciences / process manufacturing preferredExperience with digital manufacturing transformation programs preferredPrior roles such as MES Solution Architect, Smart Manufacturing Architect, or Industry 4.0 Architect preferredExperience supporting clients in complex, regulated, or multi-site manufacturing environments preferred Responsibilities: Define end-to-end MES solution architecture for enterprise deployments, with Siemens Opcenter as the primary platformTranslate manufacturing process requirements (production, quality, traceability, scheduling) into logical and physical designsOwn architecture artifacts including shopfloor system landscapes, ISA-95-aligned workflows, integration patterns, and deployment viewsEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, cybersecurity, and non-functional requirementsProvide architectural governance across the MES lifecycle from design to deployment and stabilizationAct as the technical authority for MES architecture decisions across design and implementation phasesGuide and mentor solution designers, technical leads, and plant-level implementation teamsSupport configuration and customization of Opcenter modules (Execution, Quality, APS, Intelligence)Troubleshoot complex integration, performance, and deployment challenges in manufacturing environmentsDesign and govern integrations between Opcenter and enterprise or shopfloor systems, including ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, IoT, data platforms, and analytics systemsDefine manufacturing data models, genealogy and traceability structures, and real-time data flowsEnsure data integrity, performance, and end-to-end visibility from shopfloor to enterpriseDrive alignment with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standardsCollaborate with operations, plant leadership, and engineering teams to align MES with production workflows, quality processes, WIP tracking, and scheduling and capacity planningLead design of the digital thread between manufacturing, quality, and supply chainEngage business, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders to validate solution designWork closely with Siemens Opcenter product teams to align with platform capabilities and roadmapSupport sales and pursuit teams with MES solution architecture, estimates, and proposals Technologies: ArchitectERPIoTSupportPLCAIOracleSAP More:
