Salary: £59,000 - 88,000 per year
Requirements: We require experience with Git and GitHub.We require experience with Python, including tools and frameworks such as msgspec, httpx, pydantic, FastAPI, structlog, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Jinja2, pytest, ruff, and mypy.We require experience using mypy or another static type checker.We require experience designing and working with REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications.We require experience with relational databases, especially Postgres.We require experience with Docker and docker-compose.We require experience with AWS Lambda.We require experience with AWS S3, RDS, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and SES.We require fluent spoken and written English.We require permanent right to work in the UK or Ireland without visa sponsorship. Responsibilities: We prototype, implement, ship, and support backend features that are changing the insurance industry.We work within a small backend functional team of up to four or five people.We collaborate with a technical lead and product owner to deliver the right features.We help digitize risks using our AI-powered platform.We contribute to a distributed engineering and product team across Europe.
