About this role

Job description: The Sound and Behavior group (Department of Biology) is looking for two motivated students to help perform the daily care of their teaching- and research animals: frogs, reptiles and birds. You will work together with two other student caretakers with shifts every 3rd week. Animal care will take place in the morning before 11.00h every day of the week including weekends. The job is about 8-10 hours per week, and for 1 year with prolongation option starting December 1st 2026. Qualifications: The applicant should have affinity with working with animals and preferably have experience with animal care. The applicant should not have allergies to dust or animals. Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service). Employment as a student assistant is conditional upon your being enrolled in a higher education programme.
