About this role
Requisition processing of Purchase Order (PO)/PO creation, including a solid understanding of any auditable documentation needed for PO.Recognize and resolve vendor management issues to maintain system integrity (e.g., wrong supplier chosen by requisitioner)Comprehending fundamental contract content and purpose to verify that the requisition was created properly and independently make the decision to reject or approve.Verification of Insurance certificates, diversity documentation, and CIA required
documentation and ability to obtain necessary documentation if not providedIndependently Approve PO's for service agreements within delegated limits.Assist with the resolution of higher dollar agreements that have compliance issues.Primary interface with shopping cart requisitioners and PO approvers to identify and/or troubleshoot requisition issues (vendor issues, documentation issues, compliance issues).Process Purchase Order Change Notice requests according to guidelines established.Demonstrate operational expertise with contract workflow management system and PO system.Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.Support the timely preparation and execution of Confidentialy Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Clinical Study Agreements (CSAs), associated budgets and vendor agreementsManaging logistics of obtaining internal and site signaturesMaintaining up to date records as necessary per global and local standard operation proceduresLiaising with Stakeholders to deliver on the contracting commitments made to the businessCustomising of appropriate country CDA and CSA templates for a clinical studySupports Tracking of CDAs, CSAs, Site Intelligence, KPIS/Metrics as required High school diploma or GED – Change to match equivalent in UK & EU1-5 years experience in Pharma industry with an emphasis on the business (contracting, outsourcing, finance)Beneficial to have experience in SAP, contract management databases, and vendor management programsMust be able to work with multiple complex computer programs to complete the contract execution process within departmental timelines and within auditable standardsStrong Written and verbal communication including ability to communicate effectively in English and local language (if not English) and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and problem solving.Significant administrative experience within an office environment AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
