About this role
The Associate Director, Payer Strategy Enablement will support the U.S. Market Access Payer Strategy organization by driving strategic planning, operational excellence, and execution of key business priorities across therapeutic areas and customer segments. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to Payer Strategy leaders, helping strengthen organizational effectiveness, enhance cross-functional coordination, and drive consistency across the Market Access organization. The role will lead development and management of common processes, reporting tools, planning resources, and governance mechanisms that improve visibility, alignment, and execution while enabling Payer Strategy leaders to focus on customer strategy, market dynamics, and business priorities. The position offers broad exposure to Market Access strategy, contracting, customer engagement, emerging market trends, and cross-functional leadership while playing a key role in shaping the future capabilities and operating model of U.S. Market Access.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Business Operations
Support execution of annual strategic planning, business reviews, and priority-setting activities across Payer Strategy teamsCoordinate planning cycles, key milestones, deliverables, and leadership priorities across multiple therapeutic areasMaintain visibility to strategic initiatives, customer priorities, and critical business activities across Market AccessPartner with leadership to track progress against strategic priorities and identify opportunities for improvementOrganizational Effectiveness & Enablement
Lead development and management of common reporting tools, dashboards, trackers, and planning resources across the Payer Strategy organizationEstablish scalable processes and ways of working that can be leveraged consistently across therapeutic areasDrive consistency in planning, reporting, governance, and execution across teamsSupport implementation and pull-through of Future Fit, capability-building, and process improvement initiativesPartner with Market Access training and learning organizations to define service models, roles, responsibilities, and engagement approaches that maximize organizational effectiveness and capability developmentDeal & Market Access Coordination
Coordinate forward-looking visibility to key contracting, pricing, customer, and access-related milestonesSupport cross-functional alignment across Payer Strategy, Finance, Pricing, Trade, APEX, Account Teams, and other partner functionsHelp identify risks, dependencies, and coordination opportunities requiring leadership attentionSupport effective governance and communication for complex cross-functional initiativesCommunications, Training & Engagement
Coordinate leadership meetings, touchpoints, business reviews, and organizational communicationsSupport development and management of training calendars, planning resources, and knowledge-sharing toolsDrive consistency of information, best practices, and operating approaches across Market Access teamsSupport employee engagement, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiativesPartner with training teams to translate payer strategy, customer insights, market access trends, and business priorities into scalable field education and capability-building initiativesSupport development, review, and deployment of payer strategy training materials, including coordination of MRL review processes and cross-functional stakeholder input to ensure timely execution Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or Master’s Degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in Market Access, Payer Strategy, Commercial Operations, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Sales Leadership, or a related commercial functionTrack record leading cross-functional initiatives from planning through executionExperience working effectively across matrixed organizations and influencing without direct authorityDemonstrated project management, planning, organizational effectiveness, and business operations experienceEssential Skills and Competencies

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs.
