Who we’re looking for In this strategically important role, reporting to the Corporate Change team within the Group Operating Platform, you will support the delivery of data initiatives that underpin Schroders' strategic transformation agenda. You will be responsible for the interpretation, integration, quality, remediation and governance of data across core systems and enterprise datasets, including financial, client, employee and operational data. Working across multiple strategic projects, you will help establish and maintain trusted data foundations that support accurate reporting, business insight and informed decision-making. Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of a centralised and reliable data model, helping to improve data quality, resolve data challenges and enable the successful delivery of key business outcomes. The successful candidate will bring experience of working with complex data sets, a sound understanding of data management principles and the ability to build strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group. You will be organised, analytical and capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced change environment.

The base Based in our HQ in the City of London, we’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.
The team This role is part of the Corporate change team, collaborating across a virtual network with the Schroders Data Office (SDO), Technology, Corporate Functions and other business domain leads. What you'll do Collaboration & Programme Delivery
• Support large-scale change initiatives, translating business requirements into effective and actionable data solutions. • Work across multiple, concurrent initiatives with confidence, ensuring high standards of delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. • Act as a subject matter expert for Corporate data management, providing guidance and support to project teams and business stakeholders. • Engage and influence senior-level stakeholders from across the business, building effective relationships • Support the development of Corporate data products and services that can be consumed across business domains • Identify, document and maintain Corporate master data and golden sources to support data consistency and governance. • Champion and embed best practices in data management, governance, and analytics Data Quality, Governance & Continuous Improvement
• Support the implementation of data quality controls, governance frameworks and standards across Corporate data domains • Monitor data quality trends and identify opportunities for improvement, remediation and automation. • Keep abreast of industry best practice and emerging technologies, recommending innovative approaches that enhance data management capabilities and support business objectives. The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Proven track record of data analysis and delivery within large, complex, regulated organisations. • Strong knowledge of data integration, modelling, data quality, and governance best practices. • Demonstrated ability to work across and deliver on multiple large projects, engaging with a wide and senior stakeholder base. • Understanding of regulatory requirements relating to data. • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills. • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent self-taught skills) in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science. • Experience of Asset Management or similar financial services is preferential. • Experience with finance systems, data warehousing, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI). • Proficiency in data management technologies and tools (e.g., Collibra). • Exposure to data analytics, automation, or AI/ML tools related to data • Understanding of asset management processes, product structures and client hierarchies. • Passion for data, visualisation and data coding languages such as PowerBI, Qlik, SQL, Python, R, etc. We recognise potential, whoever you are Our purpose is to deliver excellent investment performance to clients through active management.
