About this role

The VIP Services Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional guest service throughout the hotel experience, from arrival through departure. This position serves a s a primary point of contact for hotel guests and assists with reservations, check-in and check-out, guest inquiries, payments, and the resolution of guest concerns. The VIP Services Clerk is expected to maintain a professional and welcoming environment while following all company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.

Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival. Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Confirm reservations, room assignments, rates, identification, and payment information. Process cash and credit/debit card transactions in accordance with established procedures. Answer incoming telephone calls and assist guests with questions, reservations, directions, and general property information. Provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities, casino offerings, dining options, promotions, events, and other property services. Coordinate with Hotel Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs and room related concerns. Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest information. Complete required reports, logs, paperwork, and other documentation accurately.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. One year previous customer service, hospitality, hotel, or cash-handling experience preferred. Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in English. Basic computer and data-entry skills required. Ability to accurately handle cash and complete basic mathematical calculations. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mississippi Gaming License. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must be able to bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements as required.
