The Operations Manager is a pivotal role within an organization, tasked with overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. They act as a bridge between various departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration while maintaining high standards of operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
• Operational Oversight • Deals with complex external client issues (ongoing client servicing for various projects and product implementations. • Communicate needs and issue with internal and external clients • Allocate/Coordinate work within a team/project • Lead and manage requests received from the client. • Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success. • Maintain quality assurance across operational activities. • Contributes to the achievement of platform team objectives. • Collaborate with department leads, team members and business partners. • Foster a supportive and motivated work environment. • Assist with training, and performance evaluations for operational staff. • Operations Managers are required to make informed, data-driven decisions to benefit the organization and its stakeholders.
• Team Leadership • Budget and Resource Management • Plan, allocate, and monitor financial resources for operational needs. • Ensure optimal and cost-effective utilization of human and physical resources. • Assist Operations Leas with the preparation to manage operational budgets in alignment with company goals.
• Strategic Planning • Collaborate with leadership to set short-term and long-term objectives. • Identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and scalability. • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support growth.
• Risk Management and Compliance • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards. • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organizational guidelines.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. • Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Typically, 4-7 years of experience and 0-1 years of management experience. • Experience in an operational area and/or client services is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and budget planning. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Knowledge of industry-standard tools and software for operations management. Core Competencies
